For centuries, the United States has been about equality, justice and freedom. These guiding principles are foremost observed and practiced by the US Federal Government. During the past year, however, the American government has shown signs of deterioration in terms of principles and values. What used to be an institution that safeguards the American values is now but an entity that thrives on oppression, discrimination, and power. Such remorseful acts are evident in no other than the various policies of the government. One of the most current oppressive policies of the government is its immigration policies. Early this year, US President Donald Trump passed an executive order that sought to limit the immigration of foreigners in the country.
